My graffiti represents a skeleton which comes out of the wall where the graffiti have been drawn, around the skeleton there is a "fake wall" which is drawn with the graffiti, that makes an illusion and that's what I like about it.The colors are a bit dark (for the wall and white for the skeleton). I saw that graffiti is made by "Les copains ". The graffiti was near the bridge of "Faubourg Bonnefoy"I hope I wrote that in the good section ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    Short but sweet.

    Street Art

This graffiti was made by 4 artists:

    -Dhino Bento

    -Matu

    -Ceci Ro

    -Empty Boy

It was made under the Bonnefoy Bridge. In this graffiti we can see blue flowers on the right and blue cute creatures on the left in the background. In the foreground we can see a soldier with a pink fake gun on the left and an Indian people with a bow shooting white flowers.

I’m keen on the colors, the message of the graffiti and how the artists painted the characters.

I think the painters want the peace in the world and they tried to show that by replacing the weapons by fun things.

    Short but interesting.

          A grafiti in Toulouse :

    ⦁    Type of work / techniques :
This is a graffiti made with a spray. It is located on the faubourg Bonnefoy.

    ⦁    Significant element :
This is a graffiti representing a rapper.
There is no color to represent sadness, regrets and anger.

    ⦁    Meaning :
This graffiti has been created in the memory a rapper who died on the faubourg crushed by an intoxicated driver.
We don't know the artist but we think that he may have known the rapper.

    ⦁    Opinion :
We found this graffiti touching, gloomy and sad : that's a kind of prevention against the intoxicated graffiti of a rappeurdriver.

          Louise Mabic et
          Mathilde Casanovas

This is good English and your observations are interesting, however, I would have liked you to develop your opinion and explain what you meant by ''prevention''.

This painting was made by MAIS in 2016, it is painted by spray cans.

Place: The picture was taken at Minimes in Toulouse.

    Colours: yellow and brown

Description: At the front, we can see a man face wink with his glasses and at the background, we can see a lot's of different letters.

Feeling: This artist is showing us a way of creativity and freedom of expression.

Art or vandalism: Certainly art, because for me vandalism is incoherent to understand the artist's work while art is something that i understand.

This is short but interesting. Congratulations!

The Place : The Faubourg Bonnefoy

The artist : The artist is anonymous

The description : In the foreground, I see a child with a combat gear and a pokemon ( Pikachu ). On the left, there is a sub-machine gun and in the top left hand corner, there is a rose in the barrel of the sub-machine gun. On the right, the hand of the littel boy is holding a pink plastic pistol with a little white flag in the barrel. In the background, there is a blue wall with several graffitis.

My feeling : I find moving the violence of the transition between the little boy with the pink plasic pistol and the pokemon, and the child soldier with the combat gear and the sub-machine gun. I find this graffiti very beatiful. The artist message :- I think that the artist want to denouce the wars in some countries in which are taken some innocent, especially the children.

Some apt remarks and a good command of English.

This graffiti is on the closing grid of a cheese and butcher's shop in the Saint-Aubin district. The artist's name is Kput.

You can see a goat and a pig that refer to the cheese and butcher. Characters represent two men who run this shop. They often wear colorful shirts. I like this graffiti because animals are realistic but they are personified.

I really like the colors used because they are bright and they attract catch the attention. It shows us that the artist is very meticulous because he did all this with spray bomb. He loves to paint    animals.

Very nice. Try and avoid ''like'' and ''love'' and try and use less common verbs. Well done!

    JUNGLE FEVER

    By Mademoiselle Kat
For the « Rose Béton » festival

    St-Ursule Street, 31 000 Toulouse

On this artwork, we can see two characters in a natural landscape. There is a lot of blue. The female character wears sunglasses, classy dress and shoes ; she is very elegant but doesn't seem to be dressed as if she was hiking in the forest.

This huge mural has been painted as if it was a movie poster, with a film director, a title and a subtitle. That makes this graffiti interesting and special, and that is why I am keen on it.

There are a lot of colours, a contrast between the warm ones and the cool ones, and there are several shades of blue. The characters are simple but nice, I couldn't have drawn something like that !

The sentence around the « classy lady » refers to climate change ; it says « the climate seems to get hotter, don't you think ? ». So maybe the artist wants to sensibilize us about it, and about what humans are doing to nature.
Using art to spread an important message like this one is something very interesting, that can make a difference.
On the artwork the first character that we see is the « classy lady ». She is small but doesn't seem to be respectful about environment. She can do whatever she wants in this landscape. She represents humankind, just like the man in the bottom left hand corner. He has his hands on his ears, just as if he wouldn't like to hear the truth about nature and climate. He looks happy in his denial.

This mural, to me, has also  a poetic side . The sentence « un rendez-vous improvisé sous la Lune » maybe tells us that the two characters are in love, and see each other during night, under the Moon and the starry sky. That is romantic and poetic, even if it is a bit cliché.

Finally, the artwork is very original and I think it took time to paint it alone, so this is very interesting.

A very good sense of observation and an interesting interpretation. Your writing is very good. Congratulation, keep on like that!

The artist : The name of the artist is « Mademoiselle Kat ». She is a french artist who paints graffiti since 1990.She was born in Toulouse and was a student at Toulouse-Le Mirail University. She studied arts. She put staged such icons, as Marilyn Monroe, Betty Page and Catwoman.

The description : The graffiti represents a fresco like a film of the fiftees. This art work was realised for the « Rose béton » event. On this fresco, there is a woman and there are plants in which is a man hidden. This was drawn like a movie poster with the name of the producer : Alice Guy, and the name of the senarist, and the signature of Mademoiselle Kat. There is also this sentence : « An appointment off-the-cuff under the Moon. » which, I think, wants to make us think about a movie pitch. The artist has also added at the top the name of the cinema where we can see the film in her imagination.

The place : I took the picture in Sainte-Ursule street, next to Capitol Place.

What do you like about it ? I cannot get enough of the sentence written by the artist : « I think the climate warms up…Not you ? » because I think having written that can make people react, because there is a great problem for our planet.

What a graffiti tells you about the writer ? This graffiti tells you about this artist, because Mademoiselle Kat is committed for the climate, and she decided to call on the people in the street with this sentence :

    « I think the climate warms up…Not you ? »

Art or vandalism ? I think that the graffiti of Mademoiselle Kat are art works, and not vandalim, because they want to denounce many things. I would say they are of public interest, so I think it’s not vandalism, as long as she has the agreement to do that. I think too it is art, because her art works have been done for the event « Rose béton ».

What it tells you about the artist personality ? Mademoiselle Kat likes painting women figures with many colours which represents many registers. She also enjoys drawing frescos connected with feminism and ecology.

Signature : For her signature, Mademoiselle Kat has choosen to write « Mademoiselle Kat » with a stylized writing.

This graffiti was painted by SBU and Jonat in 2018, at Minimes. It is painted in spray bomb. At the front, there is a big yellow fish,on the right a big magic lamp and there is a lion with wings but without his head.

I feel curiosity by when  watching this piece of art. This is art because they are showing their thinking, ideas.

    Short but sweet.

I found this graffiti on St Ursule street, between the Capitol and Esquirol. It's painted on a shop's metal curtain. I can see the graffiti has been made in 2017 and the artist's name is Bule. The graffiti shows some plants, a cat, a fox, flowers and arrows. There are also some stars, moons, planets and constellations. I chose this graffiti because it's simple and pretty. I think the artist likes two differents world : the space and the forest.

A short but terse text. Good work!

This is a painting made by DINHO BENTO. He is a brazilian artist who was born in Mariana.

The fresco is situated under the Bonnefoy bridge.

We can see an Amerindian with tattoos who is wearing a sort of hat with feathers and also necklaces.

He is holding a bow and an arrow with a flower at the end. He is not hunting but he divided peace and love. (the flower is a “Lily flower” so it has a special meaning)

What I love about this painting is of course the drawing, the color and the message.

I think that the artist wants to show his love and he wants peace to be everywhere in the world. He also did a painting where he wrote "Make love not war".

Good work! Do you think you could add a picture? Thanks.

    MY GRAFFITI

The place where the graffiti is located is at 26 avenue de Lyon in Toulouse. The fresco was made by graffiti artist Tilt and artist Malick . It is a simple tribute to the rapper DF the MR Chill who was killed by a driver.

The description of this graffiti is presented by the title of his music of Mr Chill with his name. With the date of his birth and the date of his death caused by the driver. All the letters in blue ans white constituete the title of his music. I like this graffiti because it represents full a lot of cloud- shaped letters with a black hole that represents the void.

An interesting presentation. You need to rephrase one or two sentences.
