The British Royal wedding of the year
On the weekend of the 19th of May, our English teacher gave us the funniest homework. We were to watch at least twenty minutes of Prince Harry's wedding ("Live" or "in Replay") on an English speaking channel absolutely and give our impressions.
Our impressions about the British Royal Wedding
The Royal wedding was marvellous. All the Royal family was there and about six hundred guests of whom David and Victoria BECKHAM, James CORDEN, Elton JOHN, George CLOONEY and his wife.
Ladies wore beautiful and colourful dresses and hats, and men wore classy costumes. The bride, Meghan MARKLE was wearing a long, white dress created by GIVENCHY. Prince Harry was wearing a black military costume. Everybody was well dressed.
During the ceremony, people were singing. Prince Harry and Meghan MARKLE exchanged their wedding rings. Afterwards, they went out of the chapel St GEORGES and waved to the crowd and kissed. The newly wed were really beautiful and cute together.
Then, they went through Windsor in a coach. People were very excited, and applauded the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
I hope they won’t get divorced like Prince Charles and Lady Diana, and will be happy for the rest of their lives.
The Royal Wedding
In France, four million people watched the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan on television.
During the ceremony and the reception, cameras and smart phones were forbidden for the guests.
I think that the dress of the bride was pretty but I expected to see a dress with more lace and embroidery.
I found unfortunate that Meghan’s father was absent during the wedding.
There were many more guests for Prince Harry than for Meghan.
Prince Harry and Meghan were very lucky because the weather was really beautiful.
The carriage parade pleased the public who waited outside.
I think a Royal wedding needs a lot of preparation and organization.
